From the first second of this session, participants will be launched into a different context of learning. From climbing great mountains to saving the life of an animal, the classic statement that math is all around us is brought to life through Immersion. Teachers will learn simple structures to bring Immersion into their classes, and ways to bolster student thinking such as defining what variables are needed to solve a problem, and data structures that enhance conceptual learning of a concept.

Presented by Scott Laidlaw and Megan LeBleu of Mid School Math.
